D-Shaped, Centronics Cables
(0 results)
Products in this family are lengths of cable material terminated at one or both ends with a Centronix style connector, characterized by a mating end having a D-shaped shroud surrounding a rectangular contact set similar in form to a card edge interconnect system. Named after the computer equipment company that popularized its use in the 1970s and '80s, its use for peripheral interconnect applications in computer systems has since been largely supplanted by other systems.
